Chagall Exhibition Tudeley Church, just a few minutes from The Poacher is the only Church in the world to have all it's windows decorated by celebrated artist Marc Chagall. They are well worth a visit while you are in the area and they depict Christ crucified over the figure of a young girl drowning in memorial to Sarah d'Avigdor-Goldsmid who died in 1963 at the age of 21. In addition, from 5th March through to the 29th May the original drawings showing the evolution of Chagall's ideas will be coming to the UK for the first time and form part of the 'Cross Purposes' Exhibition at Mascalls Gallery in Paddock Wood. Why not combine a trip to view the Church and the Gallery with lunch at The Poacher.
